The Steelers Brand Ambassador Team represents the front line of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ fan engagement and event activation initiatives during the various phases of the football season. The objective is to represent the Pittsburgh Steelers and offer the best fan experience that will drive brand awareness and promote the excitement that exists in the NFL. For this reason, we continuously seek the best of the best, self-starters with a positive and professional attitude. Each individual is responsible for managing his/her event area as assigned by the members of the Steelers Marketing staff. The position will run for one year from the hire date and can be renewed for future seasons. Top performers will be kept in consideration for various internship opportunities or other roles within the organization.

Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC have been Pittsburgh's premier professional soccer team since its inception in 1999, and play in the United Soccer League, one of the largest and fastest growing professional soccer organizations in North America. The Riverhounds are seeking associates for the spring 2025 season. This position provides undergraduates with an overall learning experience that creates a solid understanding of the business side of professional sports and entertainment. Pittsburgh Riverhounds associates will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the operation of a successful sports franchise including two new sports venues, Highmark Stadium and the AHN Montour Junction Sports Complex. In addition to gaining valuable experience in Club and Stadium business operations, Pittsburgh Riverhounds associates will also have the opportunity to engage and contribute to venue logistics and operations. There will be a heavy emphasis on customer service and providing a safe, fun, and overall enjoyable experience for all fans. Our Associates will contribute to our core values of providing affordable family entertainment, growing the game of soccer and making memories for our local community. This position is for college students using the program for college credit. The associate will also contribute to other areas as needed.

IT Service Desk Intern

The IT Service Desk intern is the first line of interaction between our Business Department employees and the Technology Department. This is a part-time opportunity and in-person only. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Technology Department in the resolution of troubleshooting tickets and internal technical support needs. The candidate should be adaptable and possess good customer service and verbal communication skills and develop trustworthy and reliable relationships with employees. They will combine these skills with their technical ability and a willingness to learn and function as part of a team to successfully execute their job functions. Organizational skills, attention to detail, time/priority management, and self-motivation are also vital for success in this role. In this capacity, the Technology Department will assist the intern in learning new technical skills and how to best operate as a successful member of the larger Penguins organization.

Ticket Sales Internship Spring 2025

Intern(s) will observe and learn the basics of how a professional ticketing department functions. Exposure includes (but is not limited to) season ticket sales, group sales, membership retention, and operations throughout the duration of the semester.

2025 Safety Internship USGA
United States Golf Association

The USGA is committed to hosting safe championships for its employees, contractors, players, and fans. The Safety Intern will assist the Safety Director in the identification, evaluation, and control of worksite hazards ensuring a safe and successful execution of the 2025 U.S. Open Championship. The Safety Intern will assist with multiple phases of the Championship buildout including advance set-up, Championship week responsibilities, and post-Championship breakdown. The hourly rate is $15.00 per hour, and candidates are eligible for overtime pay (time and a half) for any hours over (37.5) a week. Accommodations and transportation are provided.

2025 Short-Term Merchandise Internship

This basic timeline should give you an idea of the many roles you will play throughout the Short-Term Merchandise internship. From your work on the loading dock and in the office, to your time in the Merchandise Pavilion with some of the biggest golf merchandise and apparel companies, you will leave with a greater understanding of the merchandise operation of a major Championship.

This is a paid internship with a monthly housing stipend. Candidates are eligible for overtime pay (time and a half) for any hours worked over (40) a week.

Presidential Associates Program

Established in 1981, the Presidential Associates Program at The American University in Cairo (AUC) provides recent university graduates the opportunity to spend a full calendar year working at the highest levels of an international university. This is your chance to: • Get an insider’s look at how major live broadcasts are produced • Build connections with professionals in the sports media industry • Gain practical skills and experience that will look fantastic on your resume The experience you’ll gain here could be the perfect springboard to kickstart your career in sports broadcasting, journalism, or media production. From June 11th - June 15th it’s a long-hour commitment, but the experience and insight you’ll gain are invaluable. As a TV Committee volunteer, you will be in charge of marshaling cameras for NBC. It is very important that cameras make it to their next movement in order to capture the live action for NBC’s coverage of the U.S. Open.
